This is the first book that I have read by this author, and I must say - for this genre - I was pleasantly surprised. There was a real storyline, a plot, a problem, and a resolution. The primary and secondary characters were interesting, believable, and well developed. The sex was explicit, but strictly vanilla. I do believe that I will read more from this author.

Contemporary Erotic Romance from Samhain Publishing. This is a great book. Grace is a College Professor in the small Texas town she grew up in. All of a sudden the sexy new Chief of Police rents her parent's house, and her ex fiance shows up. This story is sweet, well written, with just the right amount of humor. Definately worth a credit.

I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. This genre tends to be sex, sex and more sex with no story to back it up. I really enjoyed it.

I didn't find this book remotely steamy (as the cover warning implied) and the story was kind of boring.

I found this story rather interesting and didn't figure out the villian in the book until close to the end. I enjoyed the budding relationship between Ren and Grace but like another reviewer mentioned, I didn't find the book all that "steamy."

I also want to say that the person that did the proofreading on this book before publication needs to find another line of work because errors abound all throughout.
