I'm not one to enjoy daily devotionals, as they tend to make me feel guilty for not reading EVERY day. This little book, however, is one in a million (Actually two in a million because there is a second volume as well). Max Lucado writes with such wisdom and packs an enormous amount of it into a few short lines. You can read an entry in less than a minute and truly feel like you have a nugget to focus on for the day. I try to keep an extra copies to give as gifts.

This is an excellent daily devotional. I have always enjoyed reading books by Max Lucado. This book gives you the opportunity to experience a taste of his different books.
This is a beauty, it's brand new. This would be perfect for gifting someone with a smaller sized inspirational (Christian) book with attached ribbon book mark...lovely.
This is a devotional. They are really very brief and I think the most consistently uplifting I've seen in comparison to other devotionals. I enjoy reading them with my teenagers for a brief thought for the day. They usually have one to three verses and an encouraging thought, not in deep theological language, but in everyday common expression. This book was copyright in 2000.
