There are many books which discuss this subject but key points are made by this author. The book needed a good editing but in evey chapter, the reader gains a viewpoint not gained in several other books on the subject.
I too wrestled with the subject and others after a tragic loss five years ago. I searched and searched for answers but the timing for them was now, coming as I read this.
Do yourself a favor--get this book and listen to your heart.

If you have lost a loved one, whether it is through death, separation, divorce, or disease, this book will go straight to you heart where you hurt the most.
I have just lost my dear Dad, and cannot tell you how much the author's words and experiences have touched my heart, lifted me up, opened my eyes, and made this whole process of grieving something that is a positive time of growth through pain.
I already own this book, but am ordering it here on PBS so my Mother can have her own copy and not have to wait until I'm finished reading mine. I'll probably keep coming back to it for a long time.
Highly recommend this book to anyone going through this "valley of death" in their lives. You will discover that it is a "valley of life" as well, and will find hope and solace in his words and in the arms of God.
