It's November, and as the island residents prepare for the coming months of cold and snow, they are surprised by God's unexpected lessons of humility, trust, and hope. Authors Lori Copeland and Angela Hunt revisit the Island of Heavenly Daze in the second book of the highly acclaimed series about a small town where angelic intervention is commonplace and the Thanksgiving feast a community affair.

A town where the angels work but no one knows they are angels sent to earth to help these people out. I thought it was so good, you just have to keep reading.

Absolutely brillant! These books are some of the best. Right along the Mitford series I think! I have grown to love all the Heavenly Daze inhabitants and although I am reading them backwards in order it seems, I can't seem to get enough of them and finish them much too quickly! These are going to be timeless classics and a sure add to the library!

Get this series and read it in order if you can. It is excellent! I put this series on my Keeper Shelf and that is unusual for me. I know I will re-read it again.
Full of humor.
Part of the Heavenly Daze series
Another charming tale in the Heavenly Daze series. Quirky, charming, heart-warming and whimsical! Jan Karon and Gail Fraser fans take note! This series is right up your alley! If you like your reads to be gentle, this is a wonderful series!
The Heavenly Daze books are a must read! These stories portray an incredibly small New England town on a remote island where angels abide among the villagers to lend a "helping hand". These books made me feel good just to read them. They were very heartwarming, yet also showed the true "nature" of people and how frustrating it can be to live in a town where everybody knows everything about you! I would definitely recommend all of the books in this series. Each book relates a different story/situation about the people (and angels)who reside on the island and the reader becomes greatly attached to each resident. I couldn't wait to read the next book in this series!
I love the characters ,they are woven into the story in such a way you can relate to them. A very good book !
