Missing!

Felipe's father, Jacinto, has disappeared. In El Salvador, when people disappear, they do not return.
Felipe remembers his father telling his mother, "If they come for me, you and the children grab hands and run. Go north, all the way to Canada."
Now Felipe, his sister, and his mother are running.
The way north is long and hard, fraught with danger -- and deadly people.
Felipe must learn the rules of survival at once: Avoid the authorities. Let Mama do the talking. Try to blend in.
But most of all, never lose hope - for Jacinto, and for freedom.

Ages 10 and up.
