This was a good story. A small bit of dark and danger, but more than enough humor and positive to balance it out. I do not like it when the characters reel from one disaster to another for the whole story. I do like a bit of adventure in the tale.
The other thing I like about these characters is they are not perfect. Some of what has caused them problems in the past is their own doing and they own up to it. Well-rounded characters is the best description I think. They are not two dimensional like some romances.

A really fast-paced and fun historical romance. Both the hero and the heroine have pasts, and each has an alter ego under the cloak of night. Their alter egos have a torrid romance, which in the daytime she becomes the governess to his two nephews that recently lost their parents. He's a bit of a historical romance Batman/Bruce Wayne, and was strong without being a jerk. The kids are great and the heroine is innocent but tough, smart and resourceful. I highly recommend this book, and I'll be keeping my eye out for this author from now on.
