Great ideas and recipes to use. Not only is this good for going green but it's great natural ideas for house and self.

A lighthearted take on the 'go green' sentiments of today, I would describe this book as a good introduction for someone who isn't quite sure she is an environmentalist yet. A good subtitle would be, 'How to make worthwhile efforts to be green but still keep your Manolos!'. I have read more detailed books on the subject of what is in our food/cosmetics/carpets/workplaces etc but this one gives you just enough information, in a lighthearted style, to begin making changes that will make a difference, all with a terrific sense of humor.
