Abby witnesses a shooting, or does she? No body can be found. Later, the same man is found dead....only stabbed. Much to Jawarski's chagrin, Abby once again gets herself involved in the investigation. As if she has nothing else to occupy her time, she ends up as the assistant coach to her nephews basketball team when no other adult volunteers.....Is her relationship with Pine finally moving in a more positive direction ?

This is book #4 in the highly entertaining Candy Shop series starring Abby Shaw, the owner of Divinity candy shop that she inherited from her Aunt Grace.Once again she is busy running the shop and trying to avoid trouble but she witnesses a stranger being gunned down and killed. She tries to convince everybody that there has been a murder but there is no body. Later on a body does show up and she becomes determined to find out what happened... I enjoyed this book because the characters are well-developed and the relationship between Abby and police officer Jawarski is developing toward something more than friends...I am looking forward to the next book and would recommend this series to anyone that enjoys cozy mysteries.

Book #4 in the series. Once again Abby Shaw gets involved in a murder mystery even though she should know better. I really enjoy this light mystery series. A great read with a cup of tea or hot chocolate. Candy recipes in the back of the book is a plus
