It's funny, poignant and deals with love and loss. A software engineer develops a program from electronic communications (emails, video chats, FB posts, etc) and virtually recreates Dear Loved Ones - dead people! "we are communicating virtually so much anyway, what's the difference?" he asks.
Unless you recently lost a loved one, you might enjoy this! I appreciated the technical part of it, the geeky but kind-hearted software genius, then the human connections and romance. Poignant, sad and funny in parts. A really different kind of book and well done.
