Gwen is great at sports but not as good in spelling. In the "Dear Parents" section being a good sport is discussed as well as setting goals, teamwork and dealing with disappointment.

I had never even heard of the Hopscotch Hill School books before I read this one. Very cute and good message for kids. Will read others.
