The writing is superb. It drew me in and kept me reading. Very revealing of another side of the world and the raw human emotions and how they were dealt with in by the characters in such a different way than what we her in the US are familiar with. On the other hand I haven't finished it because I find it sad and had to put it away for another time to finish. What I have read so far sticks in my mind in a very emotional way. Read it for yourself and see if it moves your emotions.
