good story about a beautiful young woman who descovers she has a twin. While exploring her relationship with her sister, she is caught up in serial murder situation. And falls in love.
great book
All victims are found face down in a creek. All are naked except for the black satin ribbon around their neck, and they share one characteristic, all are readheads.
Rich Reve Sorrell has come to Cherokee Pointe to learn if she has a twin sister. Reve met Jazzy Talbot a couple of months ago. To say they look alike is an under-statement. Reve knows she was adopted, but both women are questioning what they've been told about the past. On top of that, someone is murdering redheads and leaving their bodies in the river. Since both Reve and Jazzy have flaming red hair, their friends are worried about their safety. Sheriff Jacob Butler is determined that neither Reve nor Jazzy will be the next victim.
This is the last book in the Cherokee Pointe trilogy. Just like the previous books, everyone in town has secrets. Most of them are having extra-marital affairs because no one in this town can be faithful. There are a handful of viable suspects which kept me guessing. I actually thought the mystery of the twins was more interesting than who was murdering redheads. My rating: 3.5 Stars.

A great closing to an interesting trilogy!
Super great book Loved it
Another great book by Beverly Barton. I can't get enough of her.
Great murder mystery - story-line keeps you interested the entire time. Language/sexual scenes a little much
First book I've read by this author. This book was awesome. Beverly Barton has been add to my list of authors I really like. I have added the other 2 books to my list to read. Loved how the book kept changing points of view. Kept you guessing until the very end. Great book.
This was a great book and part of a great series. I was pleasantly surprised.
Good one
Beverly Barton is another great writer. Good book.
Kay Hooper said: "A powerful story that kept me up very late -- with all the lights on. With a vilain you won't soon forget and nail-biting suspense, AS GOOD AS DEAD is about as good as it gets."
Suspensful! Kept you guessing until the end! I love all Beverly Barton books and this one is no exception. There are a lot of characters mentioned and it's hard to keep up with everyone but still a good read.
A powerful thriller that kept me reading. Twin sisters seperated at birth, one found in a dumpster, the other in a log in the woods. Who and why were they discarded. Makes for an interesting story.
The victims are face-down in the murky waters of the creek that runs through Cherokee Pointe. They are naked except for the black satin ribbon around their necks. Each woman is a redhead.
As a serial killer leaves another chilling calling card Reve Sorrel turns to the sheriff for help in unraveling potentially deadly secrets.

Socialite Reve Sorrel has come to Cherokee Pointe seeking answers about her shocking connection to Jazzy Talbot. Twins abandoned at birth and raised in very different worlds. Add in a serial killer who targets redheads.
A villian you won't forget.
The victims are all found face down in the murky waters if the creek. They are naked except for the black ribbin around their neck.. Good mystery and romance.
She writes great mysteries
3RD IN A SERIES. FANTASTIC, UNPUTDOWNABLE STORY.
A little slow to start, with a little extra backstory and intrigue of secondary characters. Sets main characters well. A fairly good surprise about who the bad guy is. Worth the time. Recommend it.
