YAY!!! Finally another winner from Patterson/Ledwidge--about time after the last couple books being a flop!
If you haven't read the previous book of Michael Bennett then you need to read it first as this one is continuing the saga.
I had about given up on Patterson but maybe the Bennett series will continue to be a good one, hopefully!

very good
Great story...kept me on the edge of my seat. I enjoyed the interaction between Michael and all of the kids in this one. I couldn't put it down, and couldn't turn the pages fast enough.
I thought this was another good entry in the Michael Bennett series from Patterson and Ledwidge. This was basically a sequel to I, Michael Bennett which I also enjoyed. In this one, Bennett and his family are living under witness protection in Northern California to stay out of reach of the vicious drug lord, Perrine, who managed to escape from custody in the previous novel. Perrine is out to take over the drug industry in all of the US and has sent hit squads to wipe out his competition including members of the New York mafia. Bennett is called in to help recapture Perrine who is still out to get him and his family after he killed Perrine's wife in I, Michael Bennett. Lots of non-stop action in this one as Perrine is tracked to his hideaway in Mexico and his hit team is zeroing in on Bennett's family at their safe house. Would recommend this one. The next in the series, Burn is next on the agenda.
This book ls a sequel to I Michael Bennett, where his family of 13 is in the Witness Protection Plan located in Northern California. Same old, same old.......the vicious Mexican gangster is trying to take over the States, and of course, find Michael Bennett and his family and kill them. Here comes Michael, like superman.......brought back from hiding to try to catch him! yet again since he slipped from his clutches in the last book! It was just okay but I'm getting bored.......
Another exciting book in the Michael Bennett series! Loved it!
I am a BIG fan of James Patterson's books, however, I just really did not like this book at all. I was halfway done with it then suddenly for about 3 chapters it got interesting and started to make sense, but that was the highlight of it all. Not a good read for me, anyway...
Mexican cartel bad guy sociopath, his gang, vs. Michael Benentt brought out of seclusion/wit protection. Non stop action involving clever plot maneuvers as Michael takes the action to Mexico and the bad guy tries to take out Michael's adopted family. Read and enjoy.
As always James Patterson writes a page turner. Didn't take me long to read it.
great story - didn't want to put it down. Can't wait for the next one.
I was hugely disappointed (and a bit annoyed) when "I, Michael Bennett" ended without wrapping up the ending, so I ordered this book. It's a very satisfying conclusion to the story. It could be a standalone book, as there are plenty of references to bring the reader right into the thick of things, but I highly recommend reading "I, Michael Bennett" first since it gives an in-depth perspective on the conflict between the good and bad guys.
Loved this book. It culminated a great story line.
great
