Loved it!!! I read Into the Night first..not knowing I was getting into a series, but had to have the next one to see what happened to Mary Lou! I liked this one better than Into the Night! Couldn't put it down. In the process of ordering the rest!! Great writer...really keeps you interested!

The second book I've read by this author. I like her blend of romance, mystery and military themes. This story is about a Navy Seal, his missing ex-wife and daughter. Accused of murdering his ex, Lt Sam Starrett drags FBI agent & former lover, Alyssa Locke, along to help find his wife & daughter before the terrorists do.

This story was the most well-developed, the most believable, of any of Suzanne Brockmann's. Having the history that was developed in previous books helps the reader appreciate the changes that Sam made in himself. Also, having it be a domestic setting rather than international was a refreshing change. It was a great story and we can all appreciate the relationship these characters now have together.

Finally Sam and Alyssa really get together. Not those one night stands! Nice to have scenes with other members of SEAL Team 16. The book is a real page-turner. Be ready to forego sleep and almost everthing else to get to the end of this thriller.

Suzanne Brockman is one of my favorite authors what she does with a story is awsome. Gone to Far is has everything in it,romance,suspense, intrigue everything that makes you want to keep reading right up to the ending.Could not put this book down.

Finally Sam & Alyssa's story! Very good. Also a continuation of Max & Gina's story. Terrific ending.
I got this book to find out what happened to Sam's wife from the previous book. I didn't like Sam at all from the previous book and was amazed to find out that I at least understood the reasons why he did the stuff he did.

This book is apparently written after another, an opinion I formed as I read it. It is a good read, though, so I plan to read others by Brockmann!

Sam and Alyssa's story

Alyssa must help him in the search for his daughter while dealing with her feelings for him.
Finally. We've been reading about Sam and Alyssa's rocky relationship for the past five books. Now in book six, they finally get their chance. The story pulls you in from the first page. There is a lot of suspense when we learn what exactly is happening in Florida and how it involves the things that happened in the previous book. This book also shows us a WWII story of Walter and Dot Gaines and how it ties to the present. We also get to see Joe Paoletti and the problems he is currently having in the aftermath of the terrorist attack on the President. But my favorite update was about Max and Gina's current relationship. I'm looking forward to more of them. My rating: 5 Stars.
