Probably a good YA book but not my cup of tea. I expected more supernatural and not so much, mmm, grief counseling. I'm sure it's very moving and all, but not much of a ghost story. And the ghost thing - nice idea, but the author doesn't take it far enough. Where are all the other ghosts that aren't Ellie friends? How are they moving on? Did Ellie really no-kidding get those stories on her phone, can she play them back? How did ghosts of previous eras manage to move on without electronics? (that was sarcasm btw). The possession thing was interesting - after all the dire warnings I was hopeful for something major - but the author never made me feel that Ellie was in danger. But it was a thoughtful exploration of feelings after your entire world has been upended, so that was good.
