Dr. Gerald A. Walford is a member of the Professional Golfers' Association of American anda former member of the Canadian Professional Golfers' Association. In 2006 the WorldGolf Teachers Federation (30 countries, 28,000 members) elected Walford as one of their top60 teachers. Walford presently teaches at StoneCrest Golf Course in Prestonsburg, Kentucky.
Gerald E. Walford, M.Sc. is a licensed specialist in school psychology for the HaysConsolidated Independent School District in Buda, Texas.
Gerald A. Walford received his Doctorate in Sport Psychology and Physical Education inAugust 1988. His Masters is from Ithaca College and his B.A. from University of North Dakota. Walford is also biographically listed in the Who's Who in American Education, Who's Who Among America's Teachers, the Dictionary of International Biography, and theInternational Cultural Diploma of Honor. Walford is also a Kentucky Colonel for theCommonwealth of Kentucky.
While at the University of North Dakota, Walford was a scholarship Athlete Playing Divisionone hockey and Division two golf. In 1959 they won the NCAA ice hockey championships.Gerald A. has coached ice hockey at the university and high school level. Both Walfords havetaught and run many hockey schools and camps in the United States and Canada.
Gerald E. and Gerald A. have written many books on ice hockey, teaching and golf as well as numerous articles on the same subjects.
