At times the pace slowed, but I was "all in" throughout. Book seems to get its inspiration from the unabomber, who was also brilliant and had a family member compare personal letters to his manifesto. At the time, I wondered about his family's pain, this book delves into that pain and sense of loss. It also sheds light on mental illness in our society. At times I thought surely, Natalie could not be so innocent, but then characters were real enough to question, "would they do such?" This is one story which will stay with me.
