Another supenseful tail involving the Amelia Peabody and family. The year is 1917 and the Great War shows no sign of abating. The family travels to Luxor where they soon are caught up in a new adventure dealing with a ransacked tomb, and a freshly and savagely slain corpse. Meanwhile Ramese feels compelled to answer a call from the British intelligence--a mission that will prove as perilous as it is personal.
Very interesting but rather fantastical.
