Not being a huge poetry fan, I thought I'd have trouble reading this book, since it's written in verse. Not so! I found I adapted quite easily to the cadence, and it was a delight to read! I can't recommend it highly enough to those who love playing with language, and seeing others do so deftly.

A novel in verse! I enjoyed it - the characters and story were interesting and it was fun reading in verse for a change.

Having it in verse is kind of fun, what would sound trite or pretentious sounds rather witty. I would have enjoyed reading more than the first 80 pages (and, as is my wont, the last 5 pages (spoiler alert - life goes on)), but I spilled water on it.
