Another awesome book by Janette Oke about a young family in the 1930's and some of the challenges faced especially after they care for the daughter of one of the wife's friends. It also tells about the concern and care of elderly grandparents as they age. A must read!!

Many issues that we face in life, such as aging parents. Loving a child that was given to you to love and nourish and now the birth mother wants to take back. A very touching story and how God works in our lives to work things out for us when we can't.
