Did you ever wish you had a fairy godmother? Somebody to help you right the everyday wrongs that everyone has to deal with?
Scarborough's first GODMOTHER book introduced us to the concept of an unselfish wish to a Fairy Godmother, and what can happen after it is made. THE GODMOTHER'S APPRENTICE furthers those ideas. This new book adds the flavor of the tribal cultures of the Southwest to the mystique of the Fairy Godmother.

If you like Tony Hillerman and fantasy, you will LOVE this book. There are stories told by "grandmother", who is one of first people. And it mixes in with the Hopi/Navajo politics... and it's enormous fun besides.

You don't need to read the other Godmother books for this; it has some references to the people, but it's a stand-alone story.
