Another great addition to one of the series written by Rhys Bowen. I've enjoyed all her novels. I finished this one in less than 24 hours over two days.
This one was interesting in that Darcy and Georgie are off to join the Royals for Christmas. Once again, the Queen wants Georgie close by to keep a close watch on her son David and his paramour Wallis Simpson. Then, of course, there are the murders. Seems there is a curse on the estate and this isn't the first Christmas someone has died. Queen Mary is worried.
But what made it even more interesting was her younger son "Bertie" was there, along with his wife and two daughters. Georgie has several interaction with the two young girls, Elizabeth and Margaret. And more than once the comment was made, "Wouldn't it be nice if Elizabeth grew up to become queen."
