I always enjoy these books. Tight plots, great interactions between characters and Sherlock Holmes to boot!

A direct sequel to The Language of Bees, it's a suspense/thriller rather than a mystery. Thinking back, there were a lot of changes in POV. Sometimes in this series it's a jolt to go from Mary to another person, but I didn't notice it this time. There's no puzzle to be solved here, just wondering how the two will get out of this with everyone alive. But I think Mary and Sherlock need another code for the newspaper columns...relying on the "bee" references seems just too easy for adversaries to get. Wondering if we'll see any of the supporting characters - like Robert Goodman - again.
