Immersing myself into a the prospecting era of 1872 in the remote Arizona territory, where shop owners opened businesses with the hope of making a go of it when the big strike is found, was a decent diversion.

Some readers might find the plot moves slowly. I found the pace pretty accurate for the setting. Cash McLendon, a total stranger, becomes someone considered a friend among the town's leadership. Up until now, Cash only used people for his personal gain.

Did he really change? When you turn the final page, you'll have a chance to decide.
