I love trees and work with them spiritually as well, including giving workshops about attuning and partnering with them. I've also received a lot of information from them. In this book, in addition to her poetic and mythic way of presenting trees, the scientific information about all that they do is fantastic. For me, it was a page-turner (which for those of you not familiar with the idiom, means I could not put it down and annotated on my iPhone, almost everything in the book!). It validated much of the information I had been receiving spiritually. If we want to save this planet from destruction, this book is an invaluable aid and will give you lots of scientific reasons you can use to make your points. It will inspire you and make it so obvious why saving and planting trees are the most important acts we can take if we want to survive and thrive. In addition to being the other half of our lungs, trees are the other half of our hearts.
