These are just some of the characters that inhabit the works of Glenn Priestley, a Toronto-born artist, painter, prin... more »tmaker, and teacher who has lived in Fredericton since 1996. Since his early years as an artist, Glenn Priestley has focused on discovering and representing people preoccupied with their own activities. They reflect his attempts to find the familiar in strange and un-familiar worlds and the individuals he has encountered there. The exhibition catalogue Glenn Priestley: Variations examines how, in each of his works, Priestley explores anew the theme and conventions of figurative art in the tradition of high realism.« less
