Christopher Dunn puts facts behind what I have always believed. Just looking at the drawings and reading about the construction of the pyramid, before Dunns book, made me think that the Giza pyramid was built for a purpose other than being a tomb. Now that I have read it, I am almost convinced of it.

Dunn basically takes the research of others, mixed with a little of his own, and shines a new light on it. He builds a pretty good case that the Giza pyramid was built by a society that was more advanced than current Egyptologist want to acknowledge and shows how the structure may be more of a device than the purported tomb. Supporting evidence for his ideas as to what it did are weak, but does inspire thinking in the direction of possible ancient and sophisticated technology.

I've always enjoyed books about ancient Egypt: How they had such a
great cililization, great constructions and beautiful art works. The
building of the pyramids is considered a great feat and a mystery
to many but this author seems to have a theory about the pryamids
being a "Power source" which I do not share. But who am I to say so?
I still enjoyed reading the book and thinking about his ideas.
