I had not read this author before and I think the blurb on the cover from Janet Evanovich gave me unrealistic expectations. Evanovich's books made me laugh so hard I shook the bed. Banks' story wasn't funny like that, although you can count on a happy ending.
First book I ever read by Banks and I really enjoyed it. I liked how she slowly lets the relationship and characters develop. It isn't exactly hot but it is sweet and a bit of a tear jerker here and there.
Looking forward to read the rest of the series.
This one's a lot of fun. Several people with troubled pasts manage to find each other and work on their issues--sometimes in bed!
