The characters are superficial and one-dimensional. Each had his/her own stereotype and individual clique that identified them, showing no depth. Could not even finish the book, a rare occassion, since it lacked any character or storyline of interest.

Hooray! A chick lit book that's not all about getting that man for a happy ending. True, the three women at the center of the book are looking for love (with men AND women), but they had other things, experiences, problems, issues, and LIFE going on as well. Their relationships with each other (strained at times) was a nice change from the usual chick lit where it's "let's go binge drink and snort coke and fall into bed with guys." These ladies have jobs, life interests, etc. The book is a hard-to-put-down enjoyable read and I really recommend it.

A series of romantic and professional mishaps, commitment phobic men, and women who seem to continually miss the nuptial train set the scene for this witty novel.

Wickedly witty debut novelist Patrick Sanchez introduces a memorable trio of urban twentsomething females who re searching for the perfect job,the perfect apartment, the perfect man -or woman-all the while asking themselves and each other...what's a nice girl like you doing with a life like this? What a great thrill ride of a book -for all the girls- immensely readable- you'll pass this oe around

I wouldn't consider this true chic-lit, mainly because it was written by a man and what does a man know about chic-lit anyways? Still, it was a good read, full of funky, funny characters and moments.
