The baby is weaned, toilet training is complete, you're finally losing that jelly belly...so now what? This book tells you how to deal with the "mom" aspect of motherhood, beyond diapers, feedings, and nighttime crying jags (both yours and the baby's). It's about dealing with real life and how to use both your brain AND your uterus.

I loved "The Girlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy," so I was well-versed in Iovine's style. She's back, in all her witty, tell-it-like-it-is glory, pulling no punches as she discusses dinner preparation, working mother guilt, the relationship strain between Mommy and Daddy, and "how to love your family without losing your mind," as the book cover so gleefully promises.

Vicki Iovine's post baby era manual for mommies that are digging themselves out of the mommy mole tunnel and into determining where this post maternity road leads. Vicki's wit and humor abound while providing perspective and tools.
