Always enjoyable, as are all Ms. Deveraux's books. It helps to understand this one if you've read "Pride and Prejudice". I was sometimes confused with the similar names: Nate is not Tate, Casey and Stacey are half sisters, Gizzy is Gisele but is assuming another name in the play they are presenting. Sometimes Elizabeth is Lizzy. So many names to memorize and since they kept referring to each character by different names, it was a chore to keep up.

This is a written version of a 'chick-flick'. There are a lot of characters and it took me a while to keep them all straight. I am not sure I ever did figure out how they were related. I have a problem with the impetuous of the story being based on an assumption made by an intelligent woman that could have easily checked it out. I guess if she had done that there wouldn't have been a story. After all, this is fiction. It is not my favorite Jude Deveraux story. It is the beginning of a new series. Now, I am trying to figure out which of these characters will be the H/H of Summer Hill #2.
