This was a nice, comprehensive book about a variety of women from vastly different backgrounds and time periods. There is much in here to enjoy and learn. The writing is fun, snarky, sarcastic (at times). I could have gone without some of the comments she put in (an ex Obama is name dropped with the statement "maybe you've heard of you." I'm not stupid, I do keep up on current events). At times these comments just annoyed me and kept me from fully enjoying this book and kept this from being a solid 4* read. They might not bother/annoy/irritate someone else. Regardless, I would recommend this book to others. Plan on passing this on to my niece
