It's such a great book. while i don't like sad endings, i feel like this ending was a little too tidy; everything wrapped up a bit too nicely. the rest of the book was so intriguing and complex. anyway, overall, it was a pleasure to read.

This is a wonderful, quick read. The author refers back to Chocolat constantly. I didn't remember a lot about the prior book, so I was often confused. I enjoyed this book anyway.

An excellent follow up to Chocolat!

Advertised as a follow-up to Chocolat, which I loved, this is better read as a standalone book. the characters have changed, not for the worse, but just enough to be very different from the first book. the first book was lighter, more fun, this is darker and more serious. Good, don't get me wrong and I couldn't put it down, but a very different everything.

Reading about magic/spirits was new for me. I'm not a person into the magic world, so I was enlightened in this aspect. The main character changing into different people as she moves from place to place is interesting. The description of running a chocolatier can be mouth-watering for someone who likes chocolate. This is a much deeper read into the world of magic/spirits than Chocolat. I emjoyed this book.

I loved this book! Great story, very compelling - it kept up late into the night to finish it!

I loved CHOCOLATE...so I had to get the next part of the story. And it was a winner too! The Girl with No Shadow will require some concentration, this is not an easy cozy, but the story is absolutely worth it. Loved this book.

A little hard to follow at first, but none the less an interesting story-I was a little disappointed with the end.
