The second installment of The McKaslin Clan series is the story of the middle sister, Kirby McKaslin. Kirby is a Nurse Practitioner who runs the clinic in their hometown of Manhattan, MT. She also volunteers for medevac flights. Sam Gardner, former military, former corporate pilot, happens to own the airstrip and the helicopter and also volunteers and pays for the medevac flights. He is the nephew of Kirby's next-door neighbor. Exciting story line. One of the pets in the story is a dog by the name of Jessie (which is also the author's real pet).
