This book is a refreshing oasis in a world of rancor. It focuses our minds and hearts on loving, kind interpretations of life's events. For example, in the section entitled, "Your Mother's Kindness", the authors point out that, "No matter what happened later, our lives started out with a singular act of kindness: Our mother allowed us to live in her body, nourishing us with her blood and enduring tremendous pain to bring us into the world. .... worthy of a lifetime of gratitude." This chapter encourages us to meditate on this act of loving kindness to which we owe our very existence. 99 more mediations can be found in this book. May it bring you happiness.
