Ghouls, Ghouls, Ghouls (Ghost Hunter Mysteries, No. 5) finds MJ Holliday and the cast of Ghoul Getters in Ireland, investigating a haunted castle. However, this is no ordinary haunted castle, this castle boasts a phantom and a legend of lost treasure. Upon their arrival in Ireland, the team finds that several treasure hunters before them have lost either their lives or their sanity trying to locate the lost treasure of Dunlow Castle.

MJ is back, helping lost spirits and busting evil ones. She's got Gilley, Heath and her television crew with her. They are in Ireland visiting a very haunted castle--with helpful and harmful spirits. When a member of her crew goes missing, presumably lost to the phantom, the kinder spirits at the castle charge her with solving the mystery of the phantom and ridding the castle of it. Only then will they assist her in finding her friend. MJ finds herself solving several mysteries, including the mystery of her feelings for Heath.

Victoria Laurie provides a fun adventure, mixed with some ghost hunting and a little romance, in this addition to the Ghost Hunter Mysteries. MJ continues to be her witty, entertaining self, and her relationships with Gilley and Heath add humor and romance to the mix. Overall, this follows the previous books in the series very nicely and I hope we see more development between MJ and Heath in the future.

book 5 in series, and it was just as strong and solid as the previous installments! MJ and the gang are asked to investigate a terrible phantom in Dunlow castle where there is burried treasure rumored to be hidden there.

On their first trip to the castle across the causeway (bridge) they get trapped by the tide and their producer, Pete Gophner (Gopher) goes missing. They spend the remainder of their trip trying to find the presumed dead producer. Along the way their funding gets cut off, MJ helps a ghost, and several ghosts help her.

I would say this was one of the darkest in the series. Mrs Laurie has stepped up her game with this paranormal mystery, and I hoping there will be lots more to come. I would highly suggest this series, and encourage one to read them in order.

When M.J. Holliday and the crew of her cable TV show, Ghoul Getters, venture to the haunted ruins of Dunlow Castle in Ireland, drawn by the legend of hidden treasure, they hope the road will rise up to meet them, that the wind will always be at their backs...and that the resident phantom won't push them off a cliff. That is what has befallen others drawn to the castle by the legend of hidden treasure. Dunlow Castle has more spooks than turrets--including the long-dead lord in all his ghostly greediness--but they pale in comparison to the phantom. If M.J. and her fellow ghost busters treasure their lives, they need to get the drop on the menacing phantom--before they plunge headfirst into one cliff-hanger of an ending...

Psychic M.J. Holliday goes to Irlend with her crew for her cable TV show, Ghoul Getters. They are to investigate the Dunlow Castle. Story line is slow to start but picks up and does not let you down. With each turn it will have you guessing. I enjoyed this book a lot but would have liked the team to be more polished like the professionals they claim to be.

Victoria Laurie is one of my favorite authors and I always enjoy her books. This one was Good (as opposed to Great, like many of her other books). I liked it. The story of what has gone on at the castle is a bit complicated, but she does well revealing bit by bit. I have already purchased the next in the series, but am hoping it will be more like the prior titles.

I'm so glad I read this one cause after the last one I was almost done with this series. However I believe that after reading this one my faith has been renewed in the series. I love the way she incorporates humor into her mysteries.

While I still miss Dr. Steven Sable though, and while I like Heath I don't care for him and M J together. Gopher who usually annoys me was blessedly missing from most of the book as he got kidnapped. Also Gilly who I usually love was grumpy and stuffing his face for most of the book, I could have done with out that.

Its pretty much a basic story line M J and her crew got to a haunted castle to get rid of a phantom only they must first figure out how it got to be there in the first place. Much confusion ensues as Gopher goes missing, Gilly overeats to compensate for the stress, and everyone seems to get hurt at one point but like true troopers they keep on trucking until they get there job done.
