This book is a hard one for me to review. It gripped me from the start. It is well written and it is riveting. I had to keep reading because I had to know what really happened. I was left disturbed, though. It's a powerful book. There's a quote near the end that says "I hope that she made you feel" and that sums it up for me. She certainly achieved that! Wow!

This one blindsided me. With no expectations, I read it through quickly, not wanting to set it down, thinking four stars, as my five star books are rare. Well, so is this book, rare that is; an unusual story written in an unusual writing style. It appears to be the first of this genre' for this author. I would not call it erotic or even a romance, suspenseful and a bit of a mystery. Well done, I hope she tries this genre' again, as I avoid romance and erotica.

Enjoyed the pace of this book. Major characters fleshed out. Some good surprises.
