This is an intriguing concept and that cover just pulled me in. It starts out well. There are plenty of creepy elements, then plenty of thrills and chills. For fans of all things horror it's a good one. However, for me it just didn't hit the mark. I didn't quite warm up to the protagonists, some of the dialogue was pretty lame. And the gratuitous descriptions of gore over and over, ugh! I am not a fan. The ending is somewhat ambiguous as well. I liked it but I didn't love it.
