Who doesn't like a cute ghost story? I'm not one into ghosts, etc., but this was a very good read. In the midst of a nasty divorce, moving back with her parents, her daughter going off to college, Emma Whitecastle is visited by the ghost of her Granny. It's been over 100 years since Granny Apples was wrongfully hanged for the murder of her husband as the California gold rush was coming to an end, and she's been searching for a family member to help clear her name ever since! A touch of romance, great settings and good writing make this a fun read. Looking forward to reading the next installment.
