this is the most practical book on the understanding of intimate relationships and how to become whole together. every couple could use this.

If you really believe that marriage is a spiritual path this book is for you. Hendrix outlines ways to reinvigorate flagging relationships and encourages the reader to take responsibilitly for their own emotions and issues while cutting their partner some slack. Not all marriages should be saved, but many don't have to fail. This book shows that with compassion, patience and rigorous self examination a relationship can be the ground for spiritual transformation and personal growth.
