Eva Frank, a Jew from Berlin immigrates with her new husband to the American frontier to Santa Fe, New Mexico in the middle of the nineteenth century. Hershon writes of the immigrant Jewish women who braved the American frontier and the harsh realities of life. Eva deals with personal, religious and circumstantial difficulties in her journey in America. The book is a page-turner. A great read!
