While the book is oriented toward young adults, it is also worth while reading to those older. The book covers the activities of numerous spies, double-agents and various deceptions, many of which are not mentioned in more popular texts. As such, this small, easy-to-read book discounts the claim by numerous writers that the United States didn't really have an organized secret service until the early part of the 20th century.
