A really fun book! George is a handsome, flamboyant wrestler (like in the WWF) who gets sent back to medieval times to rescue a damsel from a dragon. But does she need rescuing?

George is put into a hypnotic state by his sister and goes back in time. He's just read a book by Karl Jung, so tries to psychoanalize the meaning of the various characters in his "fantasy". I laughed out loud several times as this gentle giant of a man slowly comes to realize that his fantasy is reality.

George, the Virgin, & the Dragon.
That's St George the Dragon Slayer. Only George is a
[WWF] wrestler and it is with a prehistoric Croc or
Alligator he is to slay. Plus 13 lovely Virgins on
the sidelines cheering. Does he kill the dragon, do the
virgins sweep from Devil's Mount Castle to take up
their lives again. Oh, does George get a virgin of his
own. Read it and have fun. Who out wits whom.

This book was ok, cute but not really absorbing. Good premise but not much of a story line. The Hero was very funny, the herione a little boring, and very little to no action. Promising start, little disapointing after that though..

Cute read, although a little to silly for me. I liked the hero though.

I got the book for the unusual plot line of a pro-wrestler landing in medival times. Told mostly from the guys perspective, it was still a story that had me reading till 3:30am when hubby got up for work......

True title is George AND the Virign--what a funny goof. A fun time travel romance. A modern day professional wrestler (and nice, caring guy) travels back to medieval England to find a castle, a dragon, and a virgin (or two or three) in need of rescue.

I don't usually read romances, but this author's wicked sense of
humor makes this a great read.

cute romance

Vivid romantic fantasy between a virgin too tough for a dragon to eat and a time-travelling U.S. wrestler. Clean & tight with 1 light crease in the spine.

Humor and insight wrapped in an original plot. Can't beat it!

Professional wrestler St. George the Dragonslayer is whisked back in time to the medieval English village of Markesew, which sacrifices virgins to a dragon. Years ago, Alizon was a sacrifice, but she escaped and took control of Devil's Mount. Now as George approaches, Alizon realizes George is not after the dragon, but has come for her heart.

Beware the Dragon...

The mediaval village of Markesew was besieged, its virgins demanded in tribute, so when St. George teh Dragonslayer arrived from modern times in his silver pants and lace-up boots- his quest was clear. Being a professional wrestler didn't qualify him for the task, but a sword and imagination were all he needed.. or so he thought, until he came up against the mysterious mistress of Devil's Mount.

Twelve years ago Alizon had been sent to die in the jaws of the serpent. Too tough for dragon teeth then, she'd never surrender to some foreigner in shiny hose now. She feared first for the secret world she'd built atop her mountain... but as the hero approached, Alizon realized it was not the dragon's armor he'd come to pierce, bu the scales around her own ferocious heart.

Sometimes, slaying the dragon is the easy part.
The medieval village of Markesew was besieged, its virgins demanded in tribute to a filthy dragon, so when St. George the Dragonslayer arrived from modern times -- in his silver pants and lace-up boots -- his task was clear. Being a professional wrestler didn't qualify him for the job, but a sword and imagination were all he needed... or so he thought, until he came up against the mysterious mistress of Devil's Mount.
