This book is structured as diary entries. I enjoyed the parts about George the magpie, the author's 3 dogs and other animals in her life. I did not enjoy reading about the author's deadbeat ex-husband (referred to as "The Ex" throughout) and her health problems. Nonetheless, George sounds delightful and the sketches of him getting up to mischief are charming.
