I really don't understand what all the hype is about - the book is boring, & didn't tell me anything I didn't already know - ie. separate clothing into piles of "keep, give away & throw away"; offer photos to family members, etc. The big trick is to do it BEFORE you kick the bucket. I am in my 70's, read the book in one hour, & didn't learn a thing.

This is a great concept and needed a different author. It's a smug old woman on a soap box with some shoulder chips and axes to grind, and the editor has poor judgement in letting most of the stories involving family pets stay in the book that swears it is not meant to be sad (and mostly isn't, otherwise, since it's a smug old woman on a soapbox).
