As always Maya Angelou's voice is melodic and rich as she weaves the tapestry of her story. Highly recommended!

I have not had the opportunity to read this book and have a lot of other books "ahead" of it in line so I wanted to make it available to someone who may be interested in reading it. Angelou has a very honest and sincere style of writing and it seems like a great story.

Although the front cover is different from the one that came up automatically this is the same ISBN.

Volume 2 of the five not-to-be-missed volumes that make up the biographical work of an alltogether facinating and amazing woman, Maya Angelou, is another interesting look into a world unfamiliar to many of us!

I think this review said it well: "She has the nack of guiding us along the seamier side of life while making us feel refreshed and restored like a terrific gospel blues singer" --Guardian
