From the back:Jordan Kyle lived life on his own terms, setting his own rules and playing for hisgh stakes. He'd moved through this world alone, and was satisfied to have it that way until he encountered Alyssa Chandler. By day Alyssa was a cool, controlled mathematical whiz, sorting through facts and figures. By night she became a creature of beauty and passion who was more than a match for Jordan.

Found the book boring! Didn't even finish reading it!
Book Description
Dark, dangerous Jordan Kyle lived life on his own terms, setting his own rules and playing for high stakes. He'd moved through this world alone, and was satisfied to have it that way--until he encountered Alyssa Chandler.
By day Alyssa was a cool, controlled mathematical whiz, sorting through facts and figures. By night it was a different story. At night she became a creature of beauty and passion who was more than a match for Jordan. But were Jordan's seductive caresses enough for Alyssa to take a chance on a future together?

Pretty good book! I don't think it was one of her bests.
stilted dialogue, random story, not my favorite
I'm a fairly new Jayne Ann Krentz reader, but will have to admit that I really liked this particular book. Also, one PBS member said the author of the book was Jayne Ann Krentz and PBS should change their records which apparently they have done. HOWEVER, the book was first published in February 1984 under the Jayne Ann Krentz pen name of Stephanie James . . . so both names are correct.
AKA Jayne Castle, Amanda Quick, Stephanie James. OK early title, typical "taming of the shrew" story that gets tiresome early.
didn't really like the male lead, he was too over-bearing
The author is Jayne Ann Krentz. PBS needs to change their records.
