this is a terrific collection of long stories, from some great SF writers. They were all very different, and most were engaging. The Peter F. Hamilton story was the best, and had just a killer idea. It was executed very well too. A+. The Stephen Baxter was mind-bogglingly mind-boggling. I just didn't get it, and didn't enjoy the journey very much, which is unusual, as i'm a big Baxter fan. C. The Paul McAuley was good but nothing special... a good read. The Ian McDonald was excellent, and my second favorite. An unusual and quirky main character point of view, with a super hook. I've never really read McDonald, but maybe i should try some more. Pick this collection up if you can. It's worth it a lot for two out of four of the stories.
Peter Hamilton is one of my favorite authors and he did not disappoint. The other stories were great as well!
