Still a very good read, even in today's world.
It's been ages since I read this (it's an earlier edition, circa 1970, than the one currently on the market), but if you're a fan of sociology and anthropology, this will be an interesting read.
Remember the good old days when every thrift shop had about 6 copies of this book? Now, they are all listed on PBS.
Did not read. I have seen read about this book, and seen in it in every thrift store I've ever been to. Its been on my shelf for three years and I've never cracked it. Its really dated, but if you want to take a trip back to the past and see what the future (ie: the present) is supposed to be like, go for it.
