It's great fun to ride along with Jamie as she finds that the silent partner in her Beaumont newspaper is neither silent nor subtle. Perhaps a change of course will be on the horizon, but not before shots are fired, the dog is kidnapped and decidedly fey Beenie starts looking at girlie mags. Entertaining

Story was okay. This doesn't seem to be my favorite series from Janet Evanovich. Max from the 1st book is now all grown up, falling for a woman who is engaged to be married. Does have action & suspense.

A young lady in the south, runs a newspaper. When her silent partner shows up so do two assassins, a washed-up stripper and an insane poacher. It doesn't get any more romantic or dangerous.

Hard for me to put these books down.
Hard for me to put these books down.
I thought it was ok. It's not my favorite genre to read.
This is just a fun book to read as are all of Janet Evanovich books are.
2nd in the series. Another fun book. Loved it!
Second of the series!! Can't wait for the next one.
The usual Evanovich fun read....
Not as much fun as the Stephanie Plum series, but still a good quick read. Perfect for those times when you just want to curl up with an easy, feel-good story. :)
I really enjoy Janet Evanovich!!!!
What could be better? Travel, adventure, & love. Clean book~
Entertaining.

Part of Full House series. (Not Stephanie Plum)
Another great Evanovich!
When I first got into this book, I wondered if I would like it. After adjusting to the far out car I really enjoyed it.
Great book! I love Jamie and Max, plum series is still my favorite, but if you like the plum series you are sure to enjoy the "full" series also!
The first of the series to me. It was fun meeting Jamie Swift and Max and solving the mystery with them.
Fun and good light reading

Mysterious and sexy, Maximillian Holt moves into Jamie Swift's life like a steamroller. She's the owner of a small town newspaper and hes a notorious, brilliant billionaire--what could they possibly have in common? Apparently quite a lot, for besides their mutual affection for Max's airhead sister Deedee and his investment in Jamie's struggling business, they share an explosive sexual chemistry. Unfortunately, Jamie's already engaged to be married. But when someone sprays her office with gunfire, only Max can save her. Now she'll have to rely on him to sort out the tangle of embezzlement, mayhem, and attempted murder that threatens her bucolic world of Beaumont, South Carolina. But if they unravel the mysteries and manage to stay alive, is there any hope for a shared future between a cosmopolitan guy committed to tracking down evil and a small-town girl who just wants a normal life?
Authors Janet Evanovich and Charlotte Hughes have paired up to create a fast-paced, wacky novel filled with eccentric characters and southern ambiance. In the time-honored tradition of such detective couples as Nick and Nora Charles (The Thin Man, After the Thin Man) the hero and heroine trade quips and parry sexual innuendos with panache while easily deciphering clues and adroitly coping with danger. Readers will thoroughly enjoy this Jamie Swift/Max Holt adventure, the first in a new series from this author duo. --Lois Faye Dyer

Jamie Swift runs the local paper in Beaumont, South Carolina. With the arrival of her silent partner, the notoriously mysterious and sexy Maximillian Holt, Jamie's life gets shaken up. Max's brother in law, Frankie Fontana, a former wrestler, is running for Mayor. Including two assasins, a washed up stripper, and an insane poacher, this story is fun and romantic, with a fun mystery!
Love Janet Evanovich's books, and this series did not disappoint me. Fun read.
I enjoy these books by Janet Evanovich and Charlotte Hughes a whole lot more than the Stephanie Plum series, which I detest. This series is cute and hilarious. Workaholic Jamie Swift is engaged to Phillip Standish (a fine upstanding rich guy) when her silent partner, Maximillian Holt comes to town to visit his sister, DeeDee, Jamie's best friend. DeeDee is married to ex-wrestler Frankie who is running for mayor and has promised to stop the corruption in their small town and find out where all the tax money has disappeared to. Here is where the fun starts..or should I say the danger starts. Someone is trying to kill Max, Jamie and/or Frankie. Millionaire Max has many resources and between his money and Jamie's newspaper connections, they join together to solve the mystery. A rolicking good time is had by all (er um most).
Be prepared for a few incompetent assassins, a washed-up whiny stripper, an insane poacher and the hungry alligators. Oh and don't forget about the Maxmobile - a supped-up futuristic computer-driven porsche. The computer is named Muffin and has the husky voice of Marilyn Monroe. Reminiscent of Night Rider's Kitt only sexier and brainer! An enjoyable super-quick read.

Really good book. A bit different from Janet Evanovich's usual writing.
These "Full" books by Janet are cute - something fast and fun to read while you're waiting for the next Stephanie Plum to be released. When you're looking for some good giggles, these are the best!
Written by the same woman that writes the Stephanie Plum mysteries.
Excellent
cute entertaining book. Not as "laugh out loud" as the Stephanie Plum novels.
Wonderful author and another funny story. Very enjoyable.
A little to much like a romance novel for my taste.
Great series.
Like all of Janet Evanovich's books, this is a funny, quick read.
Love this series! Great humor and action!
Lively and great fun!
First of a series. Sassy and funny, but not quite as on the mark as the Stephanie Plum series by Evanovich writing solo.
Humerous romance
I really was surprised with the Full Series and enjoyed it almost as much as the Plum series!
A light read in the Harlequin genre. Not as well written as the S. Plum books.
Book 2 in series
Good book, don't want to miss this one.
A mystery novel with romance. Some very unusual character make it rather interesting but not too exciting
Love these books!!! They are a lot of fun to read.
Another great addition to the "Full" series. These books are so fun to read and easy to get through. Perfect for the beach or a long airplane ride!
A fast, fun read.
He lives life in the fast lane and she's along for the ride---With no brakes....
Very good read!
This was great fun. I'm just sorry it didn't pick up wear Full House left off.
Great adventures.
Great adventures.
Funny stuff and part of a series.
Cute story!
Jamie Swiftrunsthelocal newspaper and has no room for romance. Then her silent partner shows up looking drop dead gorgeous. Maximillian Holtsays that he oly showed up to give his brother a shot of confidence. Outside of ring, Frankie Fontana is now trying out in the political ring. Hoping for a mayor with scruples, itgets crime. Jamie is faced with two assassins, a washed-up stripper, and an insane poacher. With bullets flying and fast getaways. Will it become more dangerous or romantic.
Keeps you enthralled until the end, but it's definitely not Stephanie Plum.
Ecellent book.
He lives life in the fast lane, she is along for the ride....with no brakes....
Fast paced, witty, with a wide variety of interesting characters.
The second book in a new series by Charlotte Hughes and Janet Evanovich.
Jamie Swift has one priority in quiet Beaumont, South Carolina: running the local newspaper. Romance runs second. But with the arrival of her silent partner, the notoriously mysterious and sexy Maximillian Holt, Jamie's life gets shaken up. Max claims he's here to give his brother-in-law a vote of confidence. A former wrestler, Frankie Fontana's now taking his shots in the political ring. Beaumont could use a mayor with scruples, but what it gets is a crime--and what Jamie gets is a story that's taking her for a ride on the wild side, complete with two assassins, a washed-up stripper, and an insane poacher. Between a spray of bullets and a fast getaway, could it get any more romantic--or dangerous? Max and Jamie are betting their lives on a long shot.

Awesome - you have to love their characters!
A former wrestler is trying to be a politician. This book is hysertical! It's a fun fast read!
The Full series is ok, but it can't compare to the Plums.
I love all of her books!
Some of the changes in the character's actions are a bit sudden, but a good read.

Dear Reader:
With Full House, my good friend Charlotte Hughes and I teamed up to create an exciting new series. Now we bring you the second book, Full Tilt, which is filled with even more fast-paced action, crazy characters, steamy sex, suspense, and non-stop hilarity. While these books are not set in the world of my Stephanie Plum novels, we're convinced they will bring you all the fun, the wise-cracks, and the adventure that we love.

Another great book by this author
Evanovich can't be beat!
This is a good series.
I was surprised to see Max and Deedee and the main characters in this book. Max is a lot like his Uncle Nick! In this book he is an adult and creating his own life with every step and very capable steps they are! Frankie, Deedee's husband, decided to run for mayor a small town and it goes haywire because there is corruption in this town. You'll never guess who the big bad is!

good book
Max lives life in the fast lane.....and Jamie's along for the ride.....with no brakes.
REALLY GOOD AUDIO BOOK. GREAT CHARACTERS AND LOTS OF ACTION KEEP YOU LISTENING FOR MORE. I would recommend.
Jamie Swift runs the local newspaper, and is surprised when her silent partner, Maximillian Holt, shows up. Actually, irritated. She has no time to clean up the office, or to entertain the money man. Never mind that he's DeeDee's very rich brother. Or that she needs the money for improvements. And, as she has been complaining about all of this to the very nice looking stranger she just met at the party, she's sunk when she finds out who he is.
